HOPE WITH-IN
"Hope With-in" was chosen to exhibited to the 15th Countryside Animafest Cyprus Views of the world
The installation "hope with-in", is a metaphor of reality. In life, the world is facing numerous difficulties (illnesses, wars, economic crisis etc.). It is up to us to follow the path of the thread of life and confront the difficulties that arise, bearing within us the hope to try for a better tomorrow. The cube is made from yarn that symbolizes life. With projection mapping we project all the obstacles that occur in our lives. But there is hope despite all the darkness and misery. Therefore hope, is represented by the lotus blossom in the center of the cube, with a hologram projection. The viewer is forced to go closer to spectate the lotus blossom through the threads, just like in real life, we must try and find the hope that lies within.
*Our installation was also exhibited at the Limassol Street Life Festival, as well as at the Cut Out Exhibition.
